Jitterbug phones (now called Lively phones) are designed for simplicity, but they can still have issues. Here are the most common problems and how to fix them:
Phone Won't Turn On
- Make sure the battery is charged. Plug it in for at least 30 minutes.
- Try holding the power button for 10 seconds.
- Check that the charger is working properly.
Can't Hear Caller / Caller Can't Hear Me
- Check the volume during a call—press the volume buttons on the side.
- Make sure nothing is blocking the microphone or speaker.
- Try restarting the phone.
Phone is Running Slowly
- Restart the phone by turning it off and back on.
- Delete old text messages and voicemails.
- Make sure the software is updated.
Battery Drains Quickly
- Reduce screen brightness.
- Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use.
- The battery may need to be replaced if it's old.
